Just received this Case XX 109X minicopperhead in very nice red bone from AAPK store owner stockman who goes by the alias Harold. :D Very pleased to have this one. Stockman is a pleasure to do business with and sent along some goodies in addition to the knife. All I did was give a mineral oil bath, clean some rust out of the well and wax everything I could reach.

Looks great! You did a fine job on that beauty! ::tu::
Would be a really nice EDC knife. Not too bulky in your watch pocket and so.

You're lucky I didn't see that one before you did. Nice bone & a good pattern.

Another beautiful Bulldog you got there Quick Steel. SSK sells some really nice knives.
I'm in the process of buying my second Case XX Knife. It's from another AAPK member, DOBBINSVILLE NC USA (WAYNED)
Probably won't get my hands on it till around Christmas time when my mom sends the kids something.
I'll post some pics when I get it but that may take a while so If anyone is interested in seeing it you can check it out here.

Skip, if you get a knife that's still in the clam pak or maybe in a decorative tin, do you leave it in the clam pak or do you cut it out? Do you leave it in the tin or remove it and store the tin seperatly?

Clam pak, leave it in and display the whole thing. In a tin or tube, I remove the knife and store the tin or tube separately.
The only knife, so far, that I've gotten in any kind of "protection" is the AAPK knife in the tube.
Actually I have a Case knife that came in a tin. I removed the knife and stored the tin. I have a 100th anniversary Camillus knife that came in a display box. I removed the knife and stored the box. I imagine that if I could remove the knife safely from a clam pak, without ANY damage to the pak, I would do it and store the pak.

VERY nice group of knives Floyd. As much as I despise Camillus 72s and the variations, I commend you on your selections. ::tu:: :D
