Todays roll call from Tom Cosgrove.
15 pre-1964 Imperial military knives. 11 genuine rogers jigged brown bone easy opener jacks with all bails attatched. 2 synthectic rogers jigged easy opener jacks. 1 3 blade genuine rogers jigged bone stockman. And a 3 blade camp style in a exotic wood.

Wow Willy, that is quite a haul! I have a couple of those with the EZ open cut out, they are substantial knives, sturdy and comfortable. Seems like some have steel bolsters and liners, they aren’t as nice looking as the ones with NS boosters and brass liners.

Great pick up WillyC. The steel bolster and liner ones are WW2 Navy knives I believe. I love that pattern. Wonderful old classic and useful knives and I think there is a beauty about them. Congrats WillyC. ::tu::

Thank you doglegg, treefarmer ::tu:: ::tu::
It looks like 8 are steel liners/bolsters. And 7 are nickle silver. All of them still snap good, a few really good. No big blade play. Just a little for the age. The exotic wood one looks to have been rescaled and cleaned. Did a pretty good job at that. The bone stockman needs a restore or a good cleaning and blade shaping. I'm going to try my hand at cleaning him a little. Just later, after i get some progress on work done around the farm. The one synthetic e-o looks to have been cleaning really well a while ago. Did a really good job. Snaps really good. One of the steel e-o looks to be new. By looking very closely over the whole knife. Doesn't looked to be buffed anywhere. Blade wells look really clean. Even looks like the orignal blade grind. If so that was quite the find, if not, somebody sure new how to restore a knife! Either way i am super happy with the whole load.

Wow Willy!!! You went all out this time! Nice! ::tu:: Got any Tipps for me on how you clean up knives? Or is there a thread on that subject here? I'll have to look latter. Off to work now.

Very fine knives Eustace ::tu:: ::nod:: The pearl is very firey and beautiful. And the patiena just sets them up in my book.
Hey thank you TPK!
Wow! You are asking me for knife advice... :o I think i'v mooved up in the ranks one slot!
I think for cleaning, just going to do on the cheap. I guess i'll use simple green, blue shop rags, steel wool, different grits of fine sandpaper, bench stone, and some good ole elbow grease. Not looking for anything spectacular, just clean them up a bit. Watched on youtube guys doing the same thing. Works pretty good for not a lot of $.
Hope that helps!
