Been carrying this one everyday for the last 16+ years. I bought it to replace a Buck 503 that I had carried for several years and lost. I just couldn't bring myself to mess-up and/or lose another nice (to me) piece so I tried the Gerber. It turned out to be a good one for me. It's been with me for so long now that if I don't have it with me when I go out the door I feel like some bad juju is gonna happen!

But it's had some company for the last month...this single blade Buck 302. Nice and slim, just a good little PK. Guess I'll have to put it in the drawer with the rest of my knives. Still feel like something bad will happen if I don't carry the Gerber. LOL Kinda like forsaking a old friend or something.

Alan, great knives, I especially like the Buck. 8)

Funny thing about that Gerber, my Dad carried of of those for a long time, he lost it and could never find another to replace it. ::dang:: My grandfather gifted me one and then my Dad saw it, and it was meant for him. ::tu:: Congrats on 16 years together. ::ds::

Johnny, that's a cool story about your dad.

I see that ranger in your last pic. The 112 is high up on my next knife to get list. Ain't never had one of them. Got a couple 110's but no 112.

I prefer the 112 to the 110, both are great though. Not many speak to me in the hand as they do. Gotta be all the brass and weight.

Today is a work day so there's a Case small Texas Toothpick (yellow-CV) in my pocket. Working in an office, I try to limit my EDCs to smaller pieces.

Technically, knives are not even allowed on premises, but nobody seems to have a problem with these little guys. Several of my co-workers also carry small toothpicks, peanuts and other small folders in their pockets.

What I carry in my commuter bag is my own business. Usually some sort of "tactical" style. Sometimes expensive, sometimes cheap. Today it's a cheap Chinese-made S&W "Homeland Security",which serves the purpose.
America, as it used to be.

::tu:: cheers gino, these are about my favourite edc at the moment, the 110 and the 112 are so solid knives i think they could take anything thrown at them, and opinels are so light in your pocket you forget there there, my #5 has a nice patina on it already ::tu::

Today is a Case mini trapper in the pocket and a Kershaw Blur in the bag.

Started writing this about ten minutes ago and the whole building started dancing. Knew it was an earthquake but just saw confirmation on CNN. I'm in Weehawken NJ right now, right across the Hudson River from NYC. My wife in Manhattan felt nothing.
