Hear are 3 I got this week,that are not in the same league as the one's that have been posted lately but I still like em lol.
Take a look at the Forrest Master and see if you can find anything strange with it.

Looks like it only had 3 bldes to start with instead of the usual four.The one I posted the other day had a really strange looking punch blade;almost like a coping blade with a rounded point.

I don't have the knife in hand yet but it only came with 3 blades,no punch,the first I ever saw. It has the PALCO,WORC,USA tang stamp. I'm going back through the post to see your knife with the different punch blade.

I have had this one and always wondered about it. It is stamped 6445R but it is different than others I have seen and different than the picture in the books I have.
Is it a Scout or Military? Is it original?

Do any of you Guys remember what Bear MGC sold the standard 4 blade scout for. I have one that a guy wants to buy but I didn't right what I paid down and all the scout site is selling now is CCC knives. Let me know if you do remember. All my searches are coming up blank on Bear but there are a ton of Ulsters out there.

I don't know if you Scout knife freakazoids have seen this or not. I also don't know if that price is decent or not but I think the knife is very nice so thought I'd post it. It's supposed to be a Boy Scout Camillus 75th Anniversary Commemorative It doesn't matter because I'm not going to bid on it (although I wouldn't mind if I had the do-re-mi) but I'm curious if that's too much or not. There are several things I like about it.

Jerry that's not too bad of a price for that knife in that condition. I've seen several in used condition bring $40 plus and they didn't have the etch or the box.

Roger that, Gus. And not just any old clip blade but THAT clip blade. Muskrat, Turkish & California clips are the only ones I like. I can tolerate the others, but...

Phil -- If I hadn't gone over my spending limit this month, that one wouldn't still be for sale. (I think because it looks like a #69 with a bail) Oh well. Ya can't have 'em all and it teaches me self control.

ok...132 pages of great knives...and here's my humble contribution. I just picked this up... Boy Scouts of Canada, main blade stamped C.J. Johnson Western Works Sheffield, back of blade stamped 'hand forged'.
The Boy Scouts were started in Canada in 1912, and if I have this right, C.J. Johnson was in business from 1841 - 1955. I'm trying to find a heritage contact at Scouts Canada that may have the history of the commissions for the knives so that I can nail down a date range.

Thanks MB...I should have posted this picture as well. The guy doing the hand forging didn't have a very steady hand It gives the knife the human touch

It looks like the stamp got ground away some during the final shaping of the blade by the knife grinders, not an uncommon occurrence

I picked up this Kabar scout at the Parker Show from a shifty looking feller wearing an AAPK cap.
