Thanks guys!
Floyd, I bought an Outback oilskin drover's coat last fall. Already have a couple of Outback hats. If it wasn't for the heat and tornadoes, I might consider Texas.
Went to visit my daughter in Ft. Worth last year. Where 'bouts are you located?

Steve, we live in Grand Prairie about half way between Dallas and Ft Worth on the south side of the metroplex. I don't find much reason to go to Dallas but often go to Ft Worth. I'm not a cowboy but enjoy cowboy things and values.Steve Warden wrote:Thanks guys!

You're probably no more than half an hour from my daughter. I'll let you know next we're heading down that way. Nice Jack Steve, love those kind of bones. Sweet color and condition. Congrats. Waiting for Case to do another run. Not holding my breath. Way to get one.

Have to agree with you to 100% doglegg, that Northfield is 4-sure an eye catcher!
Think I need to make myself a sign that reads: "Will work 4 Pocket Knives!"
Then go walk around in front of GEC, CASE, NORTHFIELD ect. / Or some of the homes from folks on here.
Or I'll make the sign and just show it to my wife. hahaha
(on second thought, scratch that last idea)
She wouldn't fall for that. She knows me.
Have a great weekend everbody!

Philip, those top two the same pattern just different scales? All three look to be in great shape. I think the last one is my favorite. Great pick up.

Floyd, I believe they are different, same length but the one with the, I think, Rogers Bone, is a sleeve board. The one with the real Winterbottom bone handles, has equal sized bolsters and 2 pen blades. Need to post these in the Queen thread and see if some experts can clear up what they are. None of the 4 have an etch that is visible even though they appear not to have been sharpened.

Top one is genuine rogers bone. Second is either geuine winterbottom, or the fake winterbottom.

WillyCamero, I told y'all wrong, the knives are different lengths.
Checking a bit further, the one with Rogers Bone has a clip blade for the main (big end), a pen on the small end. It is 3.3125" closed. According to one source that makes it a Pattern #21.
The other one, the Winterbottom handle is 3.25" long closed, it has 2 pen blades, I haven't figured what pattern it is yet.
Going to post over on the Queen thread and see what folks think.
Hey Scott, you say part of it?
You're piling 'em up.

I find the wood handled fixed blade at the top very interesting. Even more so with a sheath. The black sheath appears too large for it.

Picked up these two knives, today, at the post office. A "cleaned" Geo Schrade wire handle Hawkbill Pruner (the "before" pics are in the "Knife Lore" forum, under the "wirejacks" thread) and another Geo Schrade/Boker Tree Brand "Hunting & Fishing" knife.
