Yea, three of these are duds, but the Bucks will spruce up and the wire jack is a huge score for me. I've never seen one before.

Not necessarily. The Pakistan Barlow--yeah, probably. But from my experience those Tradesman and Apex (Imperial Ireland) knives hold a good edge and are really good in that the Zytel handles have a good grip, and are resistant to gasoline and diesel. I have an AP-22 (Barlow) and TMT-2 (Electrician) that see a lot of use, and both perform well. And I've always found those old Mitsoboshi camper's knives pretty cool. I have a bigger one that was my Dad's--it has everything but the kitchen sink on it. Even a fork and spoon! Except the quality as a user is horrible. They aren't very well made.

Great trio of user knives. That would be a great EDC combo for me, personally. And ironically, all three you show are on my list.

Great pick ups as usual Scott. ::tu:: ::tu::
Got this little Bird and Trout from Ray over at Sweetwater knives. It is marked M 2 FINN. The original sales receipt was in the box. I love the way the sheath closes.

Slowing down on new acquisitions, but a final cast of the net into the Bay snagged these two.

Q, another pair of winners! I guess I'm a bit prejudiced, the Queen leads by a nose in this race. :)

My son was looking for hints for my birthday and I suggested he look over my wish list on the AAPK store. He made 3 selections and 'surprised' me with them. A little button hook and V nickel from My Historical Knives, a Case medium stockman 63032 CV from sgilliatt and a Western S 6504 from Sanders Knives. Very pleased with all 3.

QS, Jtx thanks. My wife told my son once, 'if I had you to raise over I would sure do a lot of things different, but I would not want you to turn out any different'. I thank the Lord for how my boys turned out. And that they have a great taste in knives. ::handshake::
N W NY, never a bad day when a 72 shows up. ::tu::
Scott, all those folders to go with all those pawn shop fixed blades. You may need 2 ebay sites. ::nod::

Wow, you fellers are displaying some great knives! Scott, you have some interesting ones as usual and Floyd your son knows how to makes his dad's birthday special! NWN, those 72's are always interesting, never realized they had been copied so much.
I was hoping to share some from the bottom of the bay tonight but look what I got:
A wad of old pens, not exactly what I was expecting.
A wad of old pens, not exactly what I was expecting.
Seems the seller sent me someone else's package. My package was supposed to have 4 old pocket knives. One of which caught my attention, an Ideal jackknife that appears to have saber ground blades, maybe.
The problem has been solved, the knives were not shipped to the a wrong address. The seller was very gracious, he issued a credit for the amount of purchase, and is sending the knives as an apology for the error. So all I'm out is the shipping cost of the pens back to the seller and another wait on the knives. ::mdm::

Philip, that seller almost sent you down another alley. Bet you were surprised when you opened the package. Glad you are getting the knives. ::nod::

Thanks TPK. The little Western looks like a 3rd cousin to a 72. ::handshake::
