Mornin' guys! It is 35 here. We need about a week of freezing weather here to kill the bugs and weeds. Haven't had that in the last few winters.
I have the oldies tuned in on KOKEfm.com and all is right with the world!
Hope you all have a good day.

Well frogs. Linnea just called on her way to work. She can't find one of the Christmas presents she bought for me. It came in the mail so it has to be a MC t-shirt or a knife. Those are the only two suggestions I gave her that she would have had to order online. Fudge! Frogs! Fish Sticks! THIS SUCKS!

God, I hope so Dale. Tracking shows it left Elk Grove Village this morning. Now if the postal carrier doesn't flake out and deliver it to the wrong address...
My Sawyer Barlow is supposed to be delivered on Monday. If they blow that delivery date like they did with the Boys Knife, I'll have to wait until Wednesday and who wants to do that.

I've been eyeballin' one of those two bladed boys knives in ebony. I have 6 GEC knives, but they are all to nice to EDC. But I'm thinking that boys knife would be just right. I don't know though. It would still be hard to take that Schrade 863 out of my pocket.
Oh! Good morning! 35 degrees this morning northwest of Houston in the great state of Texas.

If you don't watch the news, you are uninformed. If you watch the news, you are misinformed.
Unk -- The two bladed, ebony Boy's knife is supposed to be here today. I'm expecting it to be the cat's meow but even if it meets expectations, the Schrade 863 won't be coming out of my pocket. Why mess up a new knife when the one I'm carrying right now does the job and I like it? Besides, even if I wanted to, there's no one around here to try to impress.

Only two more days 'till Christmas fellers. I finished my wrapping yesterday. Because I forgot while at the store, I still have to pick up the Christmas bottle of booze for my 97 year old neighbor. She has a little toddy each evening (for all I know it could be more than one). When you've reached an age most of us can only dream of, you can do whatever the hell you want to.
My Boy's Knife came yesterday and it easily lives up to expectations. I wrapped it, with a From: Santa tag on it and I'm taking it over to Linnea's today. I'm going to open it there. I think that's funny. I'm sure she'll just think it's odd.

Good Morning! All of my family has arrived (last one came in late last night) - it is Christmas now.

Well said Colonel.
For me, that's what it's all about. The gifts, the meals, the celebrating, watching football and other holiday festivities are all ancillary to family. As long as I'm with family, you can take away any or all the other things that are related to Christmas and it's still Christmas, but take away family and it's just another day with crass, commercial embellishments.

For me it's all about Jesus and I wish it were so for each of you. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and being with them, but it's knowing that HE was born into this world to save me that gives me the greatest joy on Christmas for it's truely the greatest gift anyone has ever given me.
phil, and everyone here that has religious beliefs. i accept and respect your beliefs. but i cannot put all my eggs into one basket,,sort of speaking,,, i was raised in a catholic orphanage and when i was out into the world at age 12, there were too many conflicting questions for me to understand, and as i got older the questions became more and more hard to answer.
two of my vietnam vet brothers are jahovah wittnesses and they make a lot of the religious world seem like kindergarden sunday school when i talk to them.
but i do wish everyone here the very best of the holiday season with peace and understanding to all.

It's so true Phil.
Saved from a wretched past I was born into Life. True Life! Pure sweet, clean Life. Life from Grace and the Forgiving Love of the Lord. More than mere inspiring, Grace is true, true living and knowing a Love that is beyond all understanding. Amen!
Mornin' fellers.
The grandkids will start arriving in about 6 hours. I need to finish up the tree.
But all the presents are wrapped. A person can only do so much.
Good morning Scott, Jerry, Ray and the rest of you gents (when you arrive!) Merry Christmas guys. Bruce
