Vintage/Rare/Boxed Four Blade Boy Scout Knife and Genuine Mother of Pearl Handles Ulster Knife Company c1941
All four blades are made of high carbon steel, rust-free and features (1) 2 1/2” long high carbon steel spear main blade, (2) a screwdriver-bottle cap lifter, (3) can opener and (4) a leather punch/awl. Main blade (2) has half-stop safety feature. All blades has strong snaps and tight to the frame without any excessive slack or wobble.
Both main the blade and screwdriver-bottle cap lifter have clear tang stamp ULSTER over DWIGHT DIVINE over & SONS U.S.A. The screwdriver-bottle cap lifter blade (2) tang stamps shows ULSTER over KNIFE CO. over N.Y. These suggest tang marking used by Ulster knife Company on production runs from c1876 thru c1941.
The genuine mother of pearl handles has no cracks, pinned with nickel silver rods and perfectly aligned with the brass frames, spacers, steel back springs and nickel silver bolsters. The vintage Ulster box is lined with decorative ecru colored deer skin.
The show face of the mother of pearl handle has an embedded nickel silver badge shield engraved with BSA logo with the word BE PREPARED.
The nickel-silver shackle is double-pinned with nickel-silver rods to the bolsters pin.
Overall knife length 3 5/8" closed.

I agree, but if you read the sellers description he makes no mention of it being a custom, in fact the way I read it he is trying to suggest the handles are original to the knife, even dating it to "Circa 1941"
