Busy day today but I still had time for knives. These three landed in my mailbox today.

I was there before the mail was even put up this morning to get these. I really like the older schrade and I didn't want my camillus to get lonely, so I found an ulster to keep her company

It's back to the basics for me...bought this little Kershaw Whiskey Gap from Dale's (orvet) AAPK store (with a plan for a future mod in mind). Been collecting mini trappers for so long I kinda forgot how much I also love Kershaw knives.

Oh yeah, I also took a little ride on the wild side with this Sharp Fans 2009 Wharncliffe Trapper Club Knife. Love the "Stiletto" style Wharncliffe blade and, of course, the Amber Carved Stag Bone handle which is certainly one of the undisputed triumphant legacies of Queen Cutlery.

What a great little knife. In great shape and warm old bone. That little whittler is on my list glad you got it.Jporter1974 wrote:I was there before the mail was even put up this morning to get these. Q you digress. But I am enjoying your diversity. I like the looks of the Whisky Gap. Has a Japanese look to me. And that Sharp Fans, I don't think I have ever seen one of those. Great pick ups.QTCut5 wrote:Oh yeah, I also took a little ride on the wild side with this Sharp Fans 2009 Wharncliffe Trapper Club Knife. I've been carrying the new 110 for a few days. It's much handier and lighter than having a regular 110 in your pocket but it's still a BIG knife.garddogg56 wrote:Ken I like that 11oIf you carry it let us know how it handles.
I like the 112 version better but that's just my personal preference.

Thought I would try out one of these Swiza knives. This one is the D02 model. I like it.

In case nobody ID'd that one, I think it's a Voos. It has an arrow that runs through the name.TripleF wrote:These arrived today....can't make out the one with the scratch thru the name...it's not because it's a second, I just don't remember the brand...

Is the "Swiza" a Victorinox made knife ? Made in Switzerland ? or a Far East contract knife ?

Sorry Roland. I just now saw your question.kootenay joe wrote:Is the "Swiza" a Victorinox made knife ? Made in Switzerland ? or a Far East contract knife ?

It is not Victorinox made but it is made in Switzerland. I'm not very educated about them but I've read that some people from Wenger are involved with the Swiza brand knives.

"Aha! I see now who the rascal was that beat me out on that bone Stainless Cutlery Co. Jack"
I am surprised it did not go higher. It is a bone handled 90 yr old USA made jack in mint condition. If it was an Ulster, Schrade Cut Co. etc., the price could easily have been double or more, but the brand "Stainless Cutlery" is not known by many knife collectors. Those of us who know this brand know they are a Camillus knife and some of the highest quality they made.
I began looking for these about 10 years ago when there was very little bidding and therefore low prices. It is great fun to share our knife finds via online forums but the consequence can be that you get poor faster.

I will take pics today and post them in the Stainless Cutlery thread. Perhaps you could post yours as well to show it came with either master blade ?
