Tonight I purchased this pocket knife. Another Camillus 72 variation, a FORGED USA pocket knife. FORGED USA was one of the Sears Roebuck & Company's trademark names and was made for them by the Camillus Cutlery Company. When I receive it, I will give it the once over, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s). Here's what it looks like now.

Well it's not really in the mail yet and probably won't be until Thursday. I just won the auction about 45 minutes ago (by the skin of my teeth). I didn't have a three blade Case Mini-Trapper so ~Q~'s monkey insisted that I really "needed" one. If I ever get to Hawaii again, I'm going to grab that dadgummed monkey by the neck and donate him (or her) to a zoo in Australia.

This is my Christmas present to my self. Doesn't silverLaddie take some great pictures?

It's true. Had I bid 10¢ less I wouldn't have gotten it. I was really on the fence about bidding on it but in the end, a month from now it won't mean a thing.

I did something I never do, I bought myself a NEW knife. Back in 2014 I wanted a CASE chestnut bone sowbelly CV so bad I could taste it. I almost bought one, but didn’t since it was close to Christmas and I just knew I’d get it for Christmas, but I didn’t. Later I tried to find one and they were non existent. So this year CASE came out with a CV sowbelly in red and black carbon fiber scales. It ain’t chestnut bone, but it’ll do. After 5 years of wanting I wasn’t gonna let it slip away. It’s on its way from Deadwood knives as we speak.

Still wish I could find that chestnut bone one though!

I just purchased this Geo. Schrade, wire jack, pocket knife. "BRIDGEPORT" on the tang stamp is spelled out. It appears that it may need a little cleaning. When I receive it, it'll get the once over. I'll take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

The seller accepted my best offer and I just obtained this pocket knife. A Camillus 72 (Yello-Jaket), yellow handles, 3 blades, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. When it arrives, it will receive a gentle cleaning if needed, but it looks like it's in pretty decent shape. I'll take pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

*sigh* - well - the SMKW 20% off sale has claimed my visa card...

I just couldn't resist. I got 20% off + another 5% + free shipping + free Case 130th anniversary knife roll!

I have really been wanting to replace mini copperlock that I broke, so, I bought these:

Bought last Thursday, shipped on Friday and then just sat there waiting for acceptance by the Post Office (or at least that's what tracking said). Finally moved today and is supposed to be here on Thursday the 2nd.

Does anyone else just go out and buy something cheap when they're bored or to feed the beast? This one was just to feed the beast but seems lately the beast's appetite is slowly becoming insatiable.

I do that sometimes. My cheap go to's are imperial/hammer brand but sometimes when I get a hankering and I can't find one I'm satisfied with then I talk myself out of it.

I just bought this two knife lot for "best offer." I bought it for the Camillus WHAT-A-KNIFE, not the German knife. The tang stamp for the German knife reads JULANCO (over) SOLINGEN (over) GERMANY. Which means that it's from one of these two makers:
JULANCO: Jul. Langenberg & Co
JULANCO: Gebr. Richartz & Söhne
When they arrive, each will get the once over. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

Nice looking lot! Single-bladed penknives seem to be a European thing. My only one is French. I need to start looking for one of those What-A-Knife Jacks again.

Tracking shows "Out for Delivery" so my mailman should be delivering these Kershaws today.

Blue Scallion

Silver Chive
57_a18c462c-6bce-48ab-b70e-eb3625490505_1024x1024.jpg
This Leek was out of stock (despite showing as two being "in stock" on the website); and since I'm seeing no refunds for it on my PayPal account; I'm either getting ripped off for $12, getting a silver Leek, or a Schrade I specified. When I received the out of stock email, I said I wanted the Schrade, giving a link to the listing. To which, the only thing I got back was a repeat of the out of stock email for the Leek, to which I restated what I said earlier, to which the seller replied"I think it already shipped". I'm confused because I got an "Out for Delivery" email from the website just now, and the Leek is still being shown.

I did specify that, instead of another Leek, I woud like this Schrade USA/Copenhagen COPE33, which I've long wanted for the aggressive serrations on the secondary blade. They were seen, typically, on the more modern Schrade designs of the 1990s, but not traditional designs. And the majority of those are a little too big for my tastes. Yet, the 33OT/34OT frame is something I'm very used to carrying, having carried a 34OT for 14 years, and a 33OT for a couple. But, I'm not 100% sure I will get it. But, it is showing "Out of Stock" on the guy's website, so it is looking promising--plus he did not charge me the $3 more than the Leek cost if I do get it, so that's great.
57_55ee71fc-c1b2-45e5-ab6e-f31cabe4f58c_1024x1024.jpg
This would have been here today, but the USPS slipped--again; sending it to a post office in a small town near the Charleston, WV hub. They have made this mistake quite regularly, but it will likely show up tomorrow.

German-made Hilti "Tea Time" folder with bottle opener. 4 1/2" closed. I actually thought it was a much smaller knife at first, until a couple hours after I bought it.
