This Buck Bowie showed up this week...at 15-1/4" overall, she's a handful...the Schrade Bowie came in recently as well.

This week's thrift store crawl resulted in these finds, 1958-1960 Queen Slimline Trapper & three Colonial Fish Knives of the same era in three different handle configurations, (plus a cool sabre grind on the black one). All found at the same thrift, all for $20 out the door.
Also ran into this Kershaw Select Fire 1920 at another thrift that same day that I snagged for $5; it was a good day at the thrift store I think.

Thanks, I have been to both of those stores numerous times over the years, and neither of them EVER had any folding knives, what it was about that one day I don't know, I'm just glad I decided to stop by.doglegg wrote:you did good.

Whoa Mr. gmichael, that is a beauty. Love the shellpullers. We definitely need more pic's of that one. Horn handles? Brand? Pictures open? Beautiful knife. A fellow poster, Outkast, has a great collection of shellpullers.gmichael wrote:]Its been a long wait, but worth it for this shellpuller. Kicks super hard!

Picked up this John Primble Belknap for $6 + shipping. It was an unknown, unmarked knife, until
I removed some of the tarnish from the blades. I was then able to make out just enough of the
remaining letters on the main blade tang to figure out who made this knife. The first picture is how
I received the knife. The rest are after I gave it a minor cleaning.

Three new ones this week. First is a GEC #99 Wallstreet in orange bone. I got lucky and happened to check my email seconds after this notification came in from KSF and I wasn’t fast enough to get it in stag, but I did score this one.
The second and third are Mcusta. 2 more in the MC-3 series. Got them both on eBay last week and paid about half what they retail for. Can’t figure that one out. Except one seller had little feed back, it’s amazing the bargains you can get when everyone else is ignoring the new guy. Both have 33 layer Damascus jacketing a VG-10 core. The same 33 layer Damascus is the metal used on the handles.

Mark that 99 wall street looks great. They appear to be an excellent build with great action and lock up. Great snag.Sharpnshinyknives wrote:Three new ones this week. Greg, It is well built. To my surprise there are no half stops. Haven’t had a GEC w/out half’s. Not an issue for me, just surprised.gsmith7158 wrote:Mark that 99 wall street looks great.
