The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.
That blue Kirinite is trippy, man! The longer I stare at it, the more far out images I see in it.
I bet you just can't stop yourself from coon-eyeing that thing constantly, can you, jerryd?
Pretty difficult to keep my fingers off it. Gonna wear it out just playing with it. I'm going to put it away. "Out of sight, out of mind" is a sure fired way to deal with it these days.

Last one for January, I'm going to try and wean myself off anymore for a while. My pocketbook sure is taking a beating. This makes all the Carhartt's I'm aware of. It has (I'm guessing pressed) black jigged laminate handles. Super walk and talk with rather abrupt edges to the as ground blades and the laminate handles.

Nice stumble on the black Carhartt, jerryd...first I've seen of that particular model. With all your recent 07 acquisitions, I think by now you must be the King of Mini T Mountain.
I've been waiting on a new 07 to arrive for over ten days. It was shipped from TN on 1/22 and seems to have gotten caught in some kind of postal vortex in San Francisco where it has been stuck for the past week according to USPS Tracking. Very frustrating.
Meanwhile, thanks to John showing his Dark Molasses Bone Mini T, this one proved to be too much of a temptation for me to resist.
Steve, that right there is just pure low down meanness.
I gotta pass on that one ~Q~. I'm not a fan of second cut stag and especially at that price point. I'll just have to live with a hole in my Carhartt 07 lineup but I'm okay with that. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate you keeping your eyes open for me though.
