Bob, if you're talking to me Jerry, it's on my wish list. I'll have to wait and see if there are any crumbs left in the Christmas fund on December 26th.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Josh Fisher fighter, 12 and 1/8 inches overall. Josh made journeyman bladesmith this year and I wanted to jump on this before he got so famous I couldn't buy one. As it is, I had to put it on "layaway," if you remember that system. Golly, it is just swell!!! It came with a jim dandy sheath, as well, which I have not shown. This is a studio pic; I didn't take it. This is my only custom fixed blade, if I don't count the Ruana knives I have. Those are special to me too, but I use them. I don't think I will be knockin' this one around!

One I forgot about and have been too lazy to dig it out and take pictures so I stole a picture off eBay.
Buck Nighthawk 650. Not a top end knife but built very well. It's the older version like this with the black box.

Here's one that just arrived yesterday. I've been wanting one of these for quite a while, but for the life of me, I can't explain why.

Jerry and Phil, I'm not much of a fixed-blade guy, but I do like both of those

Very nice Phil. There are two or three SOG fixed blades I covet. There's just something about them...

Jerry: I think the lines of the Nighthawk are exceptional for a knife at that price point. A good looking design.

Sweet knife, Quick Steel!
Here's my newest fixed blade, a Coleman/Western W49 with sheath. It is the mac-daddy of bowies, 14 1/2" from tip to tail.

I am not much for most modern styled knives, but that Treeman is obviously a really good one. I like it!

Quick Steel and Red Rider - you guys are carrying some steel with those blades! Welder Bob, your Recon Hunter is the first modern fixed blade I've seen that has that old time "sizzle" - nice! OH

One of my grandson's was oogling the Buck fixed blades at the Janesville Knife Show this fall so I picked up this 119 for his Christmas present. I keep forgetting what a great knife these are, in hand.

Nice. My wife just gave me a new Ka-Bar USMC. I won't post a pic because I think we all know what they look like.
She also got me a lovely scrimshaw folder years ago. I don't remember the artist though.
