Yes, they are a hard pattern to find for sure ::nod::

The jigging pattern on this bone is very unusual :o No damage on either side :D ::drool::

Here is my latest:A Presto that was once a letter opener.Someone either deliberately removed the letter opener blade or it broke and fell out(probably the former). The knife is in great overall shape although it has been sharpened. The cel scales are perfect and show no signs of out-gassing.The spring almost looks like it is made of bronze.Mechanism works fine and locks up solid.Paid $50 including tax.
I have a ton of letter opener knives and will pick out one to destroy so I can use the blade in this one.A couple have scales that are starting to deteriorate so it shouldn't be a problem.Looks to be an easy fix;just one rivet to remove. If it doesn't look like it will come out easy I'll cut down to the rivet hole and slide it into position.A little epoxy should hold it in place just fine.
Last pic shows what it should look like fixed(a Schrade of the same era.

Nice job, k7k! ::tu:: Looks like it hasn't been touched!! ::nod::

I knew nothing about the bronze springs. Seems that spring
steel would have better memory than bronze. ::hmm::
Interesting info, Bill. Thanks!

Thanks! This is the second one I have owned in this condition. I had to sell the last one due to commitments. This one will probably be around for quite some time.
