Knife Boxes
Re: Knife Boxes
Kathy,
You may not have seen the Clarence Risner’s Schatt & Morgan Premier knives, but he brought back that stamp on those knives. I thought it was a nice touch.

Re: Knife Boxes
This is a great thread. And these boxes do not come cheap!
Here is a very colorful, nice E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter box that sold on Ebay this past week for $58.00.
Not my auction and I didn't win it.

Charlie
You're right, that Keen Kutter is a nice looking box.
I am proud to say that the Brown Bros is coming to my house.
Mike (who is a great friend)
reluctantly agreed to sell it to me.
I know of no other Brown Bros box, paper work or any other ephemera, so this is highly prized by me.
As you all know, my first book dealt with the history of the Brown Bros from Little Valley to Tidioute to Olean
I can't wait to see it.

You're right, that Keen Kutter is a nice looking box.

I can't wait to see it.

Re: Knife Boxes
This one's a bit newer than the other "survivors" that have been posted.
It's a full NOS box of Imperial's "Open Stock" or "Hammer Forged" tribute to the Hammer Brand logo.
These rats were advertised as "Trappers" in the mid '70s???

Re: Knife Boxes
Dimitri, do you have a date on that Puma box?
We sold them in the cutlery store in the 1980s and I am sure that box predates the '80s.
Maybe '50 or '60?
