Every time I see one of those Lionsteel knives I am impressed. Certainly looks quality and built solid. Good pick ups.

I've got a knife customized by David Thomas. I did not know he had passed away. He was a very nice gentleman that I talked to several times at various knife shows. He was very talented.

I got these two Camillus recently. To be honest, I'm not sure why I bought them - other than they were really cheap. Neither had ANY snap when they arrived. I worked-in a little oil and they are both much better. The tipped blades on the #16 are a shame. The smaller #24 was advertised as a "pearl handled knife" (I knew it wasn't), and since I didn't have a #24 it fills that gap in the pile.

'Z' do people really sell that stuff out of the trunk (boot) of their car or is that just a name y'all made up for what we call a garage sale or yard sale?

 it's actually called a car boot sale Jerry ::tu:: you basically park your cars next to each h other in a car park or field and set up a table (wallpapering table) and put everything on it and under it ::tu:: the one I went to today is massive and takes well over a hour to walk around it  well worth it ::tu::

They would never allow something like that around here. The city/county would come down on you like a ton of bricks. There's far too much money to be made by selling people the space to set-up. The local community college hires a management company to run the flea market, and the management company charges for each stall space. The community college takes a cut from the management company. It's also why the local flea markets are completely worthless - it is the same vendors selling the same worthless junk every week.
