Thank T I keep on a small table centrally located in my house and I end up using it all the time for sorts of cutting chores. It holds a good edge and has been a very good EDU (everyday use) KNIFE.

Really beautiful bone on your Schatt & Morgan sleeve board, I am partial to the spear point blade with a long nail nick. That is a wonderful knife. Is it pre-1922 manufactured?

Mahalo, T-Dog I believe it would have to have been made sometime between 1903-1933, which are the years S&M used the Titusville stamp after relocating their headquarters from New York, but that's as close as I can figure the date of manufacture.

Funny story: for my third photo I had placed the knife in a spot of sunlight that was filtering down through the trees. Just as I snapped the pic, a small breeze caused the leaves and branches overhead to move casting a shadow over the knife. I waited a few moments for the breeze to stop so the sunlight would fall on my knife again and then I snapped another pic. But, just as I snapped, the breeze blew again, casting another shadow directly over the knife. This continued for the next 6 or 7 shots in a row, the breeze causing a shadow to fall over my knife at exactly the same time I took the pic! The timing was so perfect it was comical I finally gave up and kept the pic with about half the sunlight on it as apparently that was the best Mother Nature was going to allow!

Billy jumped a buck again. It looked like the same one we've encountered before. He got his exercise today chasing that buck.

Beautiful pics! Nice RR too. I really miss those sunsets with the Saguaro silhouettes black against the colorful sky. I miss the night sky out there too. Laying on a bedroll under the stars next to a small campfire looking at the sky is how I fell asleep on many occasions. You don't get those views of the night sky back here, too much ground clutter and smog.
