I went out with a Puma Sargent in a Buck 112 sheath on my hip, a V&D D/A auto clipped in my pocket and a Remington Bandit on my keychain. Plus I had a United sword cane in my truck on a gun rack and a Marbles Knif Ax combo stuck in my truck organizer. I also had a Sterling auto 22 long rifle pistol in the glove box. Florida is a right to stand your ground state you know 8) .

I MUST say I like that knife above!!! (Bulldog on the shield)

I have added this Imperial Ireland Dog Leg Jack

To my EDC. It's nicer and more solid than a Shell knife seems like it should be!

I have added a couple to my EDC.

This first one is an old Gerber Folding Sportsman II.
When I got it the wood insert on one side was half gone on one side and it was pretty battered and dinged up. I had a couple scraps of ivory I tried to cut to fit the insets. I am still waiting for my hand surgery (the VA can be slow) so my hands are not working as well as they should. I didn’t get a good fit on the inlays as a result, but it is a user and beater knife, riding in my back pocket. I like it. ::super_happy::

This is one I got in trade with Johnnie Rotten. I have been carrying it too.
I will eventually have to put bone on it as I am not a big fan of the plastic.
Thanks Johnnie! ::tu::

Yeah I have come to the conclusion that from now own my EDC will always be some kind of SAK. I end up using the awl, screwdriver, and openers almost as much as the blades.

Screwdriver blade does stuff like taking a light off the back of a trailer or the license light off.
Awl does belts around waist and mudflaps on trailers.
And all cans of food don't just pull off. Some take a good old fashion opener.

Scout, Camper or SAK will do the job!

Thanks Paul. I just got a phone call from the VA today. My surgery is scheduled for June 21st, or was it the 20th? My wife wrote it down, thankfully!

BTW I will be gone from AAPK for 10 days in June. I will be using the Gerber and several other knives up in Montana, fishing with my fishing buddy Paul, his dad & brother. They make this trip every year and his dad invited me along. How does a guy say no to a free fishing trip? ::shrug::
Hope I remember to take some pics. ::facepalm::

So between the fishing trip and surgery, I may be a bit scarce on AAPK in June.

( in Montana, fishing )

Dale, I just happen to be an excellent fishing knot tyer in case your hands give you trouble, which I hope they don't.
I also have a very loud whistle in case of bears and I could carry hot coffee and extra flies and stuff. And I don't make too much noise...........Please.....Please...........

Well anyway.......... I lived in Ol' Montan for a wonderful while. Got married there on the Bull River where I had a cabin.
In Sanders County. May I ask where you will be? All the best on your time off.
Joe
