Can anybody date a UTICA Cutlery scout/utility knife for me? I just scored one and have it in the pokie soaking it wounds off (rust) right now.
I'll take a pic after she's cleaned up, but I only found one on completed listings on ebay that has no shield, like this one.

Maybe it's not. Made during that era, it could be "Civil Conservation Corps".WelderBob wrote:Thanks guy's...Johnnie that was just pointed out to me and yes I believe your right...I feel a little dumb right now...

I had a Craftsman with a shield like that if my memory serves me
Here's a little mess kit made by Imperial for the Boy Scout National Council. Maybe one of you Guys know what the stamp means and when it was used.

Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
The National Council is the ruling body for the Boy Scouts of America. There are local or regional councils as well, but they all operate under the overarching authority of the National Council. I can't tell you much about that stamp other than it is commonly seen on many Boy Scout items, so I presume it indicates you are getting officially approved merchandise. I've seen that stamp used on a variety of Boy Scout items such as canteens, backpacks, and cooking kits. (Works much like buying official NFL caps and jerseys etc. )

That’s it....nice custom stag.
I had talked to the Older Gentlemen who did the work on it....He also had a PAL.Cut. Scout.
I believe that He told me He was 71 years old.
