We should make a topic "the art of bargaining", and everyone should share their ways.
I love bargaining too ::nod::... maybe that why I always have way too much stuff!.... ::facepalm::

... ::hmm:: "the art of bargaining", that is a great idea for a thread/topic! ::tu:: ::tu::

::paranoid:: ... And as a side not I would have paid a bunch for that "Big T", it is outstanding! ::nod::

Two garage sale finds. Kamp King for $3 and the other knife says Hammer on it. Has 3 blades and a awl. 2 blades are broken. Gave a $1 for it just because I'm curious about the brand. Can anyone help me out with some information?

Hammer Brand and Kamp-King are both Imperial Knife Co., Providence , RI, Looks like 1950-60"s (guess). Look up "Tang Stamp Charts" on the "Knife Related Q & A" page for the approximate dates, J.O'.

I’m a little late posting this one. My wife bought me this one for Father’s Day at the Blue Grass knife show. It’s a Holley WW1 Red Cross knife.

A Canal Street muskrat with American elk handles, which is also the AAPK 2011 vlub knife, a canal street half moon trapper with camel bone handles, a canal street 2 blade trapper with burnt stag, and a colonel Coon cheetah with stag handles.

Had an unusually good day (for me anyways) at the flea markets. The first one, I picked up those 3 Camillus TL-29 and the little Japanese one for $33 total. The one wood one is the older stamp.

The other 3 were decent finds...ERA James Barber, Rodgers(I think it's horn handles), and a nice Case that the blade has pitting on, but great bone...

Great finds!
Can't make out the stamp on the older TL-29 but I spotted it before I read your post. My observation was it was old because of the position of the shackle not being on the extreme end of the knife. Don't remember if I read this or just something I figured out for self a few years ago. ::shrug::

These just came in from Scott today. A Browning three blade that I intend to put to work, mostly because of the saw blade, and the LF&C puddy knife was a bonus, which I also plan to use. It will be perfect for filling nail holes on trim.____Dave

Picked this ol 3 dot yestiddy. Blade's a little lazy but I think a good cleaning will fix that.
Love that old Pakkawood.
