Man, that's a heat wave. I feel for you. Hope you get some cool down relief soon. Thought that kind of heat would be over but then again, it was 77 here today and lovely. Set a record for this day in Oct. Should be in the 50s to low 60s. But at night it cools down to the 50s. And a cool breeze. Thanks for the compliments on the photos. It's cool enough and wet enough to have green moss on the logs and the lawns. Thanks again.

Ahhhhhhhh, I saw that blue bone 72 and wanted it too, but hey, can't have them all. That baby you have there is just as cool. Congrats, haven't seen those, are you a BF guy to and get a shot at one? Congrats, the BFs are always cool. Always. Good one to score. Great pic too.

Felt like taking a pic of the 39. I really like the bone and size. Very smooth, buttery action and nothing to disappoint.

Great shot Quick. Love to see one poking in the bush.

Trying here to catch patina fire. Not like MOP fire I know, but a good patina fire is a beautiful thing. It's kind of a little wonder of nature traveling with you because it flashes and comes in and out. It's bright and lights up and catches the eye, sucks you in. Love how different fruit and stuff will produce different colors and some beautiful colors at that, and to me always interesting patterns and unique hues. But it'd DANG hard for me to catch and record with the phone cam, so it's elusive too, and fickle. Different light and shade and conditions were used to see if they would catch it better. Some succeeded somewhat, lots failed, but here's the best shots of the bunch. I could not capture the bright oranges and reds bleeding into yellows and browns. They just don't come out and the blue is anemic compared to what I'm seeing in hand. Oh well, but it's one thing I really love about carbon steel and 1095. And just a quick strop and it shaves hair.
