Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

The photo looks a little weird, they're exactly the same length from what I can judge. The photo makes one look longer than the other.

I always thought the top stag looked like tested era stag.

Anyone know the frames of these? I believe the other is red stag. If that ain't red.. I quit lol

Being at blade is a great excuse though, it would have been able to find the diamond in the hay stack surrounded by so many knife knives.

This knife is now the corner stone to my collection, everything about it is excellent. My other xx has buddy now.

Thanks everyone for the kind words in regards to the knife, I plan to add several photo's to my gallery.

Hey XxTestedxX,
I need to apologize for bragging on Larry's Trappers . When I was reading today I noticed the trappers were yours ::facepalm:: ! My excuse is jlw257 is consistently showing the most beautiful older Case knives, so I assumed they were his and we all know what happens when we assume something.

No worries, I had to look twice myself. :) and when I realized he didn't post any trappers I just figured you meant mine.

I plan to take some more photo's soon and utilize my Gallery.

Does anyone know if these two would be 1st models? ive been reading around and from what I have seen the red stag was only issued during the 1st model era. In person these two are the same length. and virtually identical besides the scales.

The red stag is truly interesting, has some very nice "gnarl" to it and excellent color.

Does anyone know the origin of the red stag?
