It’s no secret that I’m fairly obsessed with knife photography. A while back I read an article in Knife Magazine that said that the proper direction when photographing a knife was to face the point towards the SW. I had never seen that before, so that’s what I’ve been doing lately. Here are two examples. What do you think? SW or NW?

I don't know about direction, Joe. If you, for example, turn a Case knife that way, wouldn't the shield be upside down?
