Well, the tracking#(s) didn't lie. These came in today

*Schrade+ 858OT, 1 of 3 stockman style OTs I am trying to get. Have a 8OT and 34OT already purchased, just wanting on delivery.

*Imperial Barlow, 2 of 2 of the old Barlows I wanted to get. This is like a couple I had in my younger days with the New Holland advert.

*Cold Steel 54BH, 1 of any I can find to satisfy my fetish for Camillus made CS w/ Carbon V blades

These are all unused and will be for eye candy, fondling, and blade modeling/photography only. ::drool:: ::groove::

A 858OT was my most used knife, second only to the 8OT, back in the days as an auto technician.

I am dig'n on this newest Cold Steel though. Looks good next to the trapper and small stockman versions I got. Wish I could find a medium and large stockman to go with this set.

Thanks, the blades & bolsters could use a polish. It rode that display case for several years.

I like the handles. Is there a jigged yellow Delrin® trend starting here?

Second arrival of the four OTs I am trying to acquire to have a complete 'stockman' set. I know a plain ole 34OT isn't that exciting for you long time collectors, but it's exciting for me to start reclaiming some of the knives of my younger years. ::ds::

Didn't come with a box, but it looks factory fresh like it's been in a sterile environment all its life. Almost worries me it looks too good! ::hmm::

The most exciting thing about a 34ot is putting it in your pocket, there's good reason behind it being the most popular schrade!

Yes and no.

I do have a Walden 8OT that is a worn out beater. But at the moment I'm looking for mint or near mint Schrade over N.Y. U.S.A over model# OT stockmans to make a foursome set (108OT, 34OT, 8OT, and 858OT). Already purchased a 8OT and 108OT with a N.Y. stamp, but haven't arrived yet.

I would also like to make a set of mint/near mint OT stockmans with the Schrade Walden tang stamp, so no, I don't have a Walden 8OT for that purpose yet.

I would have thought the 8OT was the most popular. ::undecided::
