kootenay joe wrote:I should have recognized the Swell End EO Jack as a #85 GEC, because, i just received my 2016 #85 with a saber ground spearpoint and smooth autumn gold bone, a Mike Latham SFO. It is a slim knife similar to the #99 "Wall Street", and i like a slim knife. Are all 85's like this ? (slim as opposed to thick).

Thanks Scott, Kootenay Joe, all.
Only know about the 85 single blade. Double blade would have to be wider, heavier, not slim. Think if you want slim single blade is the way. Would be interesting to see the weight difference between the two.

I don't see it in any of the Camillus catalogs I have access to. What model is it? Does it have a model number and if so, what is it? When were these made? Is it really a Camillus or is it a re-bladed Schrade? etc, etc All the standard questions about an unknown knife.

Before too long I'll be loading up my pockets. None other than ZT0566BW will have top billing.
The support cast will include SAK Pioneer.
Two other spots aren't sure just now.

I don't have 1 favorite and i can't decide to only carry 1 knife. Today i am outside cleaning up winter debris from the gardens and grounds around the house, up to the bush line. So, 4 pockets, 4 knives, all in need of more use. the saber grind on the EO Spearpoint does not show up in this picture; it's very distinct and dramatic in person.

Steve, I think that's the first Barlow that I ever saw that I could really get into. That's a real looker.

Great horn Scott, have long wondered why we don't see more different shaded horn with all the cattle in this country. Love those, wish we saw more like those around.

The majority of the cattle in this country are polled at an early age (especially dairy cattle) so there isn't an abundance of horn that you would expect.
