WB, I suspect there is at least one Coleman lamp collectibles website on the web. And, I'd be willing to bet that someone, somewhere, reproduces or has the items you need for restoration.

Thanks Charlie and Jerry! I did find a site called ICCC. (International Coleman Collectors Club) Found some info there, but no resources for parts and such without joining and I wasn't sure if I was ready to do that just yet. Will check out the other posted sites to see what I can come up with. Appreciate it guys, i'd love to get these up and runnin' again.

Zoiks!! Checked out the parts site and a repro shade for these, runs anywhere from $75-$105 each!! That's like the equivalant to 3 really nice pocket knives!

Sell them to someone who like lanterns more than pocket knives, or just find out who they buy their glass from. It's surprising how easy and cheap it is to have things made these days. Borrow a few pictures and get the dimensions and then send them to glass companies. It won't take long to find out who makes them.

I agree IH, there's bound to be a cheaper way to go. College of the Ozarks may have an art dept. that does glass work, might try there. I know Silver Dollar City has a resident glass blower, but stuff there can be a bit pricey though. I'll just have to check around some and see what comes up.

Here's something else I picked at the fleamarket yesterday for $3. 1940-ish Hammond art deco alarm clock. Still has the original braided cotton cord and after 36 hours, looks to be keeping perfect time.

I can't remember if it was last summer or the year before, we were out on the bike one sunny Sunday and came on the following two vehicles. For once I remembered my phone had a camera in it. The second is a VW powered trike.
My buddy's daughter swapped houses with some folks and this is in the front yard. A sentiment I'm sure some of you gardeners have expressed from time to time.

No, but I can talk to other hams around the world.

Bald Eagle nest from just up the road. Every year more of them are sticking around, rather then migrating back north. I've spotted the likely inhabitant a few times over this past winter. I'm gonna keep an eye out and try to get a pic of it in or around the nest.

Here is a pic of my new computer.
It is a Supermicro 4 AMD processors six cores each for 24 cores total running at 2.1ghz.
It has 16 gb of ram and a 120gb SSD hard drive running Ubuntu Linux operating system.

No no no no, it's a thing of beauty.
When it's in its case it will look like most any other computer.
I figured some folks might like to see what goes on inside the box.

With that many CPUs and running Ubuntu, it should be hell on wheels for throughput.

No, I didn't have enough interest in learning code to get a license so I went the easy Redneck route, CB radio. KEK5453. That lash-up sure brings back CB radio memories though, especially during the time I had my Uncles Browning Golden Eagle.

The FCC dropped the code requirement a few years back. It's a fun hobby. and the sun is ramping up for the best 'skip' in years. Never to late to give it another go.

Nah, like aquariums and boats, it's a phase I'm over. Besides, I was never a skip chaser. It was more an annoyance for me when you couldn't talk to someone a mile away because the skip was running so strong. Of course it may not be the same in Ham where you aren't restricted to certain frequencies.
