I wanted to carry this one today. Got it out of the pouch and out of the box and fondled it for awhile, then decided it was too nice to scratch up. Very first AAPK club knife, mint, from Canal Street, now gone. I am going to sell it and use the money to buy... uhh... knives.

Precious and I are in the big city of Nashville, TN to celebrate an early Valentines Day. So, I'm a toting three knives this weekend that she has recently got for me.

A 2015 Case Canoe that she bought me right after my December elbow surgery to cheer me up. As much as I've tried I cannot find the first flaw. Heck of a knife.

A Kershaw Leek that was part of my Christmas presents.

And just today she gave me this brand new SAK Climber, my favorite SAK!

Thanks Bruce and John. It seems to be a clear version of the normal cellidor handle material. It's clear on the outside with silver colored "panels etc on the inside of the material to give effect. The tops of the protrusions that the scales fasten to are visible and seem to be highly polished.

It's really nice looking looking in hand. The box is at home, but I think the scale color was just listed as silver on the box.

Thank you for the compliment John - it is one of my all-time favorites (and I would of never known it if a thread here on AAPK hadn't convinced me to carry my "too rare and valuable" knives and use them!)

Wade, thanks for the explanation - SAK's, while excellent knives, usually have that "they all look alike to me" syndrome - but yours is unique and eye catching, rare for a SAK - very nice, and I can see why you enjoy having it!
