Interesting looking knife. I like the blade shape and bright handle. Is this a French brand?

it's a belgian knivemaker who makes these (Eric Parmentier) - handles in G10, Niolox for the blade and a flex system (quite similar to the benchmade axis lock but there is no Omega Spring but a linear spring into a metallic tube - see the pic hereunder)

I guess this is a good thread for this guy.
I got this to replace my kershaw leek, and I'm very impressed with it.
Actually, I got it to replace the Leek that I got to replace my Leek. :?
I used my kershaw for years and loved it, but it's wore down to a nub now and the pivot screw keeps coming loose. Naturally I bought a new one, but was very displeased to find that blade is so much thinner than my old one, it seemed almost frail! My first one was a work horse. Maybe kershaw is trying to save on materials.? ::shrug::
Anyway, this is my first Benchmade. It's a 707 Sequel, and if you're looking for a compact EDC, this baby is tight! The slight 3 3/4" aluminum handle swallows the more than ample 2.95" 154CM blade. Looking at it with the blade open you would almost think that the blade is too big for the handle! Even with the drilled out steel liners the handle is only about 5/16" thick and disappears in the pocket, but thanks to the super stout pocket clip, it stays right where you put it.
It's quite a departure from the leek, but after a few days of not being able to put it down I've pretty well mastered the Axis lock, and I'm getting used to the tip up arrangement of the blade.
All told, this is one smooth machine, and I like it, a lot.

I allways have one clipped in the LFP Today I was able to add this Benchmade to my rotation I've been looking at her for a year now the draw to her is she represents two of my favorite things and I know there are super steels but ever since my two dot 112I have no need for anything other than 440c..

I swapped my Kershaw Chill for my Spyderco Tenacious this week after letting it sit in the box for the last six months. Surprised me that it was very stiff and needed some adjustment even though it was dust free and worked fine before its hiatus. ::shrug::

Mini Buck was deeper in the pocket.

Since this is Texas my NAA mini was in my other pocket like always. :)

Knice EDC Toejammer! Like that pea shooter................oh, and the knife too! ::tu::

I am really, really liking this VIC SAK Camping knife. I cut wood with it over the weekend, and my brother in-law said...Really
About 15 seconds later, after I cut through the branch.....he was impressed!

Cuts the heads off torpedo cigars very knicely as well, and I've yet to find a knife that will accomplish that difficult chore so effortlessly!

I'm liking it!
