Sorry, J.O'., it's not S&M or Winchester.

Upstate NY knife company brand

Pic for new page...

IMG_5614.jpeg
Clues:
- Made by Queen 1991-2001
- Upstate NY knife company brand that closed in the 1970s
- Ontario Knife Co and Camillus also made knives under the brand name
- If the bone were a different color, like strawberry, the brand would be easily recognized

Incorrect guesses:
- Ulster
- Keen Kutter
- Schrade Walden
- S&M
- Winchester

Your clues got me there as usual. I actually have a Queen made strawberry bone whittler.

Someone else feel free to post.

How many different knife companies made a version of the TL-29 electrician/lineman knife? For the most part, they all look pretty similar, but subtle differences do exist. Perhaps the distinguishing features on this one will help identify the brand. The devil is in the details.

I am not very familiar with this pattern so I don't know if it's normal for the screwdriver blade to have a sharpened edge, but the screwdriver blade on this one has a sharp (factory) edge.

Made in the U.S.A.

The tang stamp only shows the company logo (not the company name) over "USA"

Dang it I was never smart enough to figure out that the OK was Ontario Knife Co. & I collect electrician knives. Thank you
