Take the time to browse through here. You should be able to get a match and remove any doubt. ---► http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?p ... rinox+84mm
I use sakwiki a lot, I'm only limited to the two pictures I've posted from the listing to determine the model and I'm certain those are scissors peaking out. Based on the condition of the anodizing I believe I have a very rare find in this random lot.

Good snag Cody!
Those are hard to find at a "reasonable" price. Under $20 is a GREAT price.
I just got one 2 or 3 weeks ago and I thought I stole it a $30.

::tu:: ::tu::
Thanks. I ended up getting for $17.59 shipped, which was $14 for the knife itself. Funny thing was, one sold the same day, in worse shape for $30.

I got it today (expect some photos in the Schrade forum soon), and noticed that it seems unused, and near mint minus a few spots on the blade. Factory edge and traces of factory oil. Even has hardened oil syndrome.

Yep, there was something about the title that made everyone else miss it...

Bought my faux son-in-law a Kershaw for Christmas.

Bought it Monday Nov. 19th
It shipped from New Jersey Tuesday Nov. 20th
It arrived in WICHITA KS on Thursday Nov. 22nd. WHAAT? You didn't see the "Now Entering Illinois" sign, nor the one for Iowa on the other side.
Stayed in WICHITA KS for a day and left Friday Nov. 23rd.
Saturday Nov. 24th -- No update -- Just said "In Transit to Next Facility"
Sunday Nov. 25th -- No update -- Just said "In Transit to Next Facility"
Monday Nov. 26th -- No update -- Just said "In Transit to Next Facility"
Tuesday morning Nov. 27th -- Finally shows up in PALATINE IL DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Welcome to the 2018 Christmas Season. Get your stuff shipped early if you want it to arrive by Valentine's day.

Jerry, I had one knife which I purchased run amok all over the United States and on to Puerto Rico before it settled down and behaved itself. Wyoming is where it wanted to be and eventually got here. It just sort of whimpered and wagged its tail when it finally got home.

I hear ya Cal. I've never had one leave CONUS like yours and a couple others I've read about on the Forum but this is not the first to go walk-about on me. Had one that took a detour through Jacksonville FL and others that have bounced back and forth between here and Chicago or here and their point of origin. It's very frustrating. I don't understand how they get off track like that but I always sigh a big sigh of relief once they lock on to the homing beacon.

Jerry I think when they scan them sometimes they go through the wrong way and if there is a return address they read that.I have had it happen to me several times.

I'm gonna tell you what.... the USPS has gotten bad lately.
A couple of weeks ago, they held one of my packages hostage just 90 miles from me..... it sat there for OVER a week before somebody decided to push it on down the line.
Now, I have one sitting in the same state as the seller, in the distribution center or whatever they want to call it. We must not be paying the USPS workers enough money or something. At $4.85 a pop, you can sure get a pile of money in a clothes basket.

ANYWAY.....

Jerry, that bone color seems pretty common on very late 1980’s and early 1990’s Case pocketknives. It must have been their “standard” bone color at the time, similar to the Amber bone of today. Just my speculation based on observation. OH

It would be nice to know what they called it, Maybe I'll contact Case once I get the knife in hand.

Jerry, two Case 4” Stockman from my collection; the top is a 1987 6392 and the bottom a 1995 6347 with their original boxes. As you can see, the Red/Silver box labels fade badly, but none I have from that era include a color on the label. The attached paragraph from Steve’s book, pg 86, describes the situation of that era (standard knives had no named color). I’d like to read what Case has to say if you write them. OH

The credit card flipped over to a new billing cycle last night so early this morning (like 0300) there I was, cruising my 'watch list'. These two have already been marked as shipped. My kind of sellers. Now all they have to do is get them into the hands of the USPS.

Sellers pictures of course.

Greg - as you know the focus of my accumulation is folding knives from New Britain Connecticut (where I grew up) of which there were 3 manufacturers; namely Humason & Beckley, Landers, Frary & Clark and New Britain Knife Company. I've been blessed with lots of H&B's and LF&C's but this is my first ::ds:: NBKCo. that I've had a chance to add to my collection. Merry Chtistmas Tom!

Colonel, tis the season for the Postal system to have an excuse for running off the rails. It's probably on it's way back to the sender.

I asked my son what he wanted for his birthday (12/23) and Christmas. He said he wanted a hunting rifle. That presented a perfect opportunity to get through this season without spending a boat load of $$$$, so I sent my Winchester Mod. 94 30-30 to him.

For any that may not know, it's legal for a non-FFL holder to send a rifle or shotgun through the postal system as long as it's going to an FFL holder. Pistols cannot be mailed. They must be sent Fed-Ex or UPS.

Nov. 23rd -- Took it to the Post Office and mailed it. Least expensive way but long guns only.

Nov. 26th -- DES MOINES IA NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER -- Wow! 300 miles in only 3 days. Must have changed horses several times along the way.

Nov. 28th -- Dallas TX -- That's a little bit better.

Dec. 4th -- Still sitting in Dallas TX ::uc::

Dec. 6th -- Finally in Houston TX (final destination) -- Anyone want to take bets on how long it will take them to deliver it?

Kutmaster/Caterpillar 5" lockback. Basically a metal-handled Buck-copy. The label was printed on Nov. 29, and it's been on the "Shipment Received Package Acceptance Pending" for four days. It's supposed to mean it's just sitting at the local post office, but last time that happened to me, the package (with a Buck 301 and an Imperial Frontier Sportsman) was stolen.
