Thanks Gents. Appreciate the compliments. Love that bone. I imagine some pocket wear will make it pop even more. Had to have the blade tang tig welded and reshaped to get the slop out. Nice and tight now.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Anyone know if this knife is really from the 1940's like the seller claims? Looks too new to me and that Camillus Tang Stamp situation gets me confused so I can't tell.

I thought I caught a strong whiff of some ripe manure when I read the description. Rock on Carrmillus, you da man. How come they always error on the older side in their favor? Many knife sellers will give you a load of it. Like used car sales people. Thanks, I really appreciate tapping into the knowledge reservoir around here.carrmillus wrote:....that's the 1960-1976 tang stamp!!!!...............

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Discussing what the difference is between Tidioute and Northfield with a fellow member. Usually, on the ones I own at least, the Northfields have more embellishments like long pull, big swedge, fluted bolsters, etc. This Tidioute has all of them. The only thing I could find on any Northfield I've seen that might not be on a Tidioute is a mirror polish finish. Don't have a mirror polish Tidioute, does anyone else? Is there a rule of thumb? What are the clear cut differences? Thanks for any insight.

Nice Scout Scott!
I too like seeing dogg make use of his knives in a big way.
These 2 today. Been sticking with same knives for days on end. Time to switch up.
CASE XX 6216
CASE XX USA 6292
Carry one or two bladed Jacks in many different patterns more often than not, as my preferred pattern. Followed by Stockman or Pens.
Mistake on pic description. Obviously a 6292 not a 9292.

Nice Gents, lots of old Case EDC's and a Buck as well! OH
