I've been carrying the GEC "Mule Jack" everyday for nearly a month - decided to switch to one of my old reliable's for today - Schrade USA 897UH.
Nice collection of knives there Dogg (as usual!) and a very nice Buck 302 Producer. OH

Great covers on the RR Producer. Looks like tree lined hills and ridges. Ken, fine aged looking Schrade you have there. Love bare heads and that color.

Working in the yard and garden today. This XX 6375 red bone ought to get the job done.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Great knives all! Trying to play catch up as I have been busy. Too many fine ones to single any out. Carry in good health all!
Used and carried my Dad's CASE 6265 Worm Groove Bone Hunter yesterday. What a great functional and also handsome knife, in my opinion. Lives up to it's name for sure!
Cleaned and oiled today and will likely carry the rest of the week. Pocket carry this without sheath 99.9% of the time. In the pocket right now.
Regards, Jerry

Hey Jerry, is that a shot through the heart, or from dressing it out? Great mark if that's from the shot.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks dogg, I love that knife. Form and function in one. She is a nice oldie I treasure. Dang, I don't really use a Leatherman often but they sure are handy. That one appears to be on steriods. i like it! Might have to get one of those. What do they cost out of curiosity?garddogg56 wrote:Jerry that 65 is sweet.old prints OHTCraftsman P-nut and a Delica.
Hey Ivory, thanks. That hole is a heart shot on a Mule Deer at 265 yards with 30 or more degree decline with 150 grain .30-06. Much more detail than you wanted so forgive but I am still pretty high on that shot and the whole hunt. Having Dad's knife was icing on the cake. Posted hunt detail in the "Outdoorsman" Thread if you are interested.Ivoryman wrote:Hey Jerry, is that a shot through the heart, or from dressing it out? Great mark if that's from the shot.

Actually Jerry that's exactly what I was looking for. I find that kind of stuff fascinating and thanks for answering. Especially distance, decline in elevation. Damn impressive shooting to me. I hunt with open sights and never even would have taken the shot. Hats off to you. You're Carlos Hathcock to me now. In awe of that kind of deadly. We're not worthy.
