Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I traded my Canal street moon pie trapper to my brother this morning.
So, I'm carrying this Case congress I bought a couple years ago.

Also, I was wandering if anyone here carries two knives in one pocket?
I have been the last couple days, I know they may get scratched a little, but nothing serious.
These are knives I was givin' so they'll never leave.

They feel great together in the pocket.

I carry two now Caleb but one has a clip. I used to carry two traditional folders in one pocket for many years. The best knives are the ones given to you by someone that means something to you.

I have carried two knives in same pocket, but when I do, at least one of them is in one of those individual 'Sack-Ups'. That way I don't feel guilty about 'intentionally' scratching them up.
Some may consider that overkill, especially for an EDC, but I thought I'd offer it up ...

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
You can clean them up Gino if you follow Singin's 6 easy steps.
1. Have an old knife you want to clean.
2. Buy a Rust Eraser from Orvet to get the rust off blades and bolsters.
3. Buy Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber and spray it in the knife.
4. Buy some Compressed Air and spray it in the knife.
5. Depending on how serious you want to get with this step, buy some micron papers for polishing bolsters, blades and most handle materials. (yes, even celluloid shells, I did).
Or you can just buy a pack of Cape Cod Cloths for about 5 bucks. Either way micron papers or CCCs are about the same in price.
6. Buy some Quick Release Oil for the finishing snaps and for lubrication of joints.
Remember after each step use the compressed air to clean the knife before moving on.

Egde, thanks for the idea on the ''sack -ups.''
If they were worth more I might get into that, but since they aren't going any where I'm gonna let them ride.

No sweat JT.
Hey Perry, thanks for the "Rejuvination Recap" ... will definitely use that.
And now I'll share one of my secrets ... I don't usually favor "Big Girls", but in this case, I make an exception ...
My 10 year old son, when seeing this knife for the first time said "That's fat!" ... I was so proud.

I am relatively new here, but it sure looks to me as if we are all related here at AAPK - "brothers in steel"!*

*Knifegirl, et al: I use the 'figurative' form of "brothers" here - it knows no gender, rather it is cutlery-specific. You and all of the 'fairer' sector of our community are of course included in this reference. (did I effectively cover my "6" with that?

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nothing in pocket just now but new Motorola Blur Cell Phone.
Got the old Trapper I found in the back of my truck with only about 2/3 of one blade left out. That little bit of blade is SHARP!
I'm thinking it goes with me when I hit the road again.
Maybe I'll come back and edit with a pic. But it's been shown before...
