I saw the poking stick man. Thought that meant you thought I was poking fun at you. I was not.

I always thought the "pokin' stick" icon meant, "I'm'a poke you in yer eye if you keeps messin' wit' me!" (Must be something I learned from my older brother when we were kids!) ::paranoid:: But, I probably deserved it since I was always the one to ::stir:: ::smack:: ::cuss:: ::sneaky:: :-P :evil: ...a very unpredictable child, was I...and probably only gotten worse with age.

Now, back to knives...here's my pocket pal for today (another gift from Ivoryman):

Cheers & Aloha,

Yup...not to mention the miners, smelters, cutlers, investors, stockholders, retailers, salesmen and the USPS who made it all come together so that I could have it and enjoy the benefits (both practical as well as aesthetic) it provides me today. It truely takes a village...actually, when you think about it, in many ways, it requires practically a whole world working together to produce a knife of this quality.

WORLD PEACE THROUGH KNIVES! ::handshake::

Don't know what it means to others. To me it means I'm just pokin' fun, jackin' around, being silly. Maybe we should have a poll to see what it means to others. Maybe I shouldn't jab the new guys who don't know me. Maybe I shouldn't jab the old guys who don't know me. Maybe I shouldn't jab anyone. ::facepalm::

No offense meant, none taken Jerry. I never know which icon to use anyway, but take for granted you and the rest of the knife lovers around here are not malicious. Just seemed you being a moderator had to have some seniority or something going on, and know your stuff. Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.

Ken 98 that's a sweet Case 6235 1/2. Never get tired of seeing stuff like that. See if I can dig one up and match ya later. Keep the vintage coming.

No, no I-Man. I'm not a Mod. I'm retired, I don't need that kind of responsibility, besides I'd have a John Wayne complex if I were in any kind of position of authority. :mrgreen:

I missed it too, had to go back and gawk at em!

Ken they're both real lookers! I really like the combination of the old traditional and the tactical. It makes for a right handy set up!
