Two in the mail. Due by this Saturday.
One on back order at Shepherd Hills and the last Mini-Trapper folder will be filled up. Giving serious consideration to putting on the brakes in regards to the Mini-T's.

Really looking forward to seeing which ones you chose as your "final" Mini-T acquisitions, jerryd.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 5:35 pm Two in the mail. Due by this Saturday.![]()

These two are in the mail. Got a steal and deal on the basket weave and I was drawn to the other one by the slanted bolsters.

Should this be listed in the 'Have you heard a good one lately' thread?![]()

Yes, as always ( ) you are 100% correct, jerryd -- I absolutely MUST have that Boker.

Nice Jerry!!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 12:40 amThese two are in the mail. Got a steal and deal on the basket weave and I was drawn to the other one by the slanted bolsters.
The yellow handle, single blade 3107W is on back order at Shepherd Hills. Been looking at that one for a couple of years. Couldn't pull the trigger because I'm not fond of single blade knives in the traditional realm.

And now the wait begins.......(insert Jeopardy tune here)

You probably didn't realize it, but I was the 2nd highest bidder on the charcoal basket weave mini trapper...so, you literally "stole" it from Mini-T Monkey while his attention was focused on other knives.

Oh, it's a "true" 3½" Mini Trapper, no doubt about that. However, for the record, The Monkey is in a state of high dudgeon at the "loosey Goosey" reference regarding the official (closed) length of a Mini Trapper.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:53 pm Mmmm, daddy like.
Is it a true Mini-Trapper 3½" closed or is it one of those that's just in the ballpark? Cause I know you play a little loosey Goosey with that closed length.
Nice Blue.. Q..

That just looks Smoooooooth especially with the Wharncliffe blade.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 12:21 am It's here. Showed up in today's mail. Please excuse the crappy picture. I was busy and didn't get to take the picture until I had to use artificial light.![]()

As Smooth and Cool as a Orange Julius. Good on you and Kudos to Jerry.QTCut5 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 6:15 pm Speaking of "smooooth"...jerryd (a smoooth operator) bombed me with this super smoooth Boker Mini Trapper with Smoooth Orange Bone handle. It doesn't get much smoother than that.
This is a truly beautiful knife. A smidgen over the standard 3½" Mini-T size but still within acceptable Mini-T parameters. I don't know where the Boker Plus line is made, but the fit and finish, walk and talk is darn near perfect and the Smooth Orange Bone handle is the very definition of "graceful." This is the first Boker in my Mini-T collection and it doesn't get much better than this. Oh, what a sweet, sweet knife this is indeed!![]()
Thanks again, jerryd, for your generosity...you really made my day and brought immeasurable joy to Mini-T Monkey.![]()
