This is my everyday carry. I carried it for a few years, then my boss at my old job said with the long blade, it looked like it might not be legal. So I replaced it for awhile with my Case Blackhorn. About a year ago I confirmed my Slimline Trapper was indeed legal, so I started carrying it again.

Case 1993 yellow composition Slimline Trapper. Feels just right, nice. Thanks for looking.

I've got a buddy who never carries anything but a yellow handled Case knife. Has done so for forty years or more. He says they're harder to lose.

Thanks Phil, unfortunately I have lost a yellow case. One of my favorites, a ten dot series yellow Peanut. Carried it for a few years, and one day I couldn't find it anywhere. I searched high and low, could never find it. I may have lost it on the bank fishing. I kept looking for it, even after we moved. Hopefully it will show up in the back of an old drawer, or a misplaced box. sigh

I love a peanut. Something about that shape and design. I have three peanuts at this time. My favorite one is a pretty rare peanut with just one blade. It's stag, with a bail you could hook a watch chain to. It's a Gentleman's knife. It is one half of the two knife Gentleman's Set. The other knife in the set is a small Pen Knife in Stag, also with a bail for a watch chain. The stag in my peanut is wide and just gorgeous. At the time I could not afford the set, so my friend who was a Case dealer, broke up a set and sold me the Peanut. It is a Two Dot, from the first Case Ten Dot series, not to be confused with the later Lightning S Ten Dot Series.

It's pocket knife jewelry for sure. Can't wait to share it with you wonderful guys. This Peanut, and my Case USA, stag 5232 Jack Knife, are the two rare jewels in my humble collection. My favorites and best.

It will be a pleasure to share my best with my new knife buddies.

I agree Mike, I'm in the market for a red bone Slimline. My friend the Case dealer, had an old USA red bone Slimline as his EDC. He loved his, and he had a lot of Case knives.

Ken, just pretty, I love them both. My family gave me a new 2015 Case Mini Trapper in the same amber bone for my B'day in June of this year. I love mine, yours looks great.

I love that CV as well, I would say both are pocket knife jewelry in my book.

Yes the 6217 has a sheepsfoot master. The knife is 4 inches, has awesome half stops and LOUD snap.
