I-Man, I can't make out the maker on the top knife, but I have a Sheffield the has a tang stamp "oil the joints" so I reckon' it is from Jolly 'ol England, very nice! The others are beauties as well a very sweet wharncliff Case ::nod:: and again excellent photos! ::tu::

Thanks dlr,
Thanks tvic,
Thanks Marco,
Thanks Rookie,
Thanks GSP, it's an IXL George Wostenholm. Yup, "oil the joints" Sheffield. The Case is a Mini Copperhead, you probably know. Thanks again all.

II’m down by the lake today I brought these three knives with me the first view is nice but the second view is better because the light is better and then my puuko knife and homemade Kydex dangler sheath.

The Leek is my EDC. The Camillus 72 is a gift from Reverend and part of my rotation. The puuko comes along when I plan on going off trail like today.

Wood pile works tvic, great colors for that knife, good pose too.

jtx, nice one.

jmh, great looking rotted stump shot. I like those natural woodland decay shots.

Great fungus shot FFF, you know I like those too.

A page full of knice shots all.

It is mating season for Tarantulas. The males are out, especially at night looking for females in their burrows. If he is not careful and quick, the female will kill the male after mating.

When I was a kid we would catch those guys in an old one gallon jar (along with horny toads, lizards, scorpions, and just about anything else that would fit through the mouth of the jar. ) and feed 'em moths and crickets. Looking back we were probably just killing them because I don't remember any lasting very long. The desert offered almost unlimited opportunities for a boy to catch some kind of critter, my Grandma used to shake me down before she'd let me in the house! ::rotflol::
