Thanks for the kind words
And YSE! 86s are sweet things, aren’t they?
If I may nerd out for a moment... I love three bladed knives because of their utility. Rarely will I give a slip joint with two or fewer blades a second look. So I don’t know what it is about the 86, but GEC hit a home run with that one!

Yup, sounds Like good reasoning to meSteamboat Willie wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 3:24 amIf I may nerd out for a moment... I love three bladed knives because of their utility. So I don’t know what it is about the 86, but GEC hit a home run with that one! They just feel right and natural in the hand, and the blades are perfect! I have two that I keep as my “steaming knives”. The one with the sucker rod scales I use on land engines, and I have another in canvas micarta that I use on the boat. If I had to give up all my knives but one, I’d keep an 86.

Great pics GSPTOPDOG, Joerazda, FFF, and all of ya. If I didn't mention it know you're thought of. Love the thread.
Here's a few in the Rocky Mountains from a week on tour. God blessed America. The West indeed.

Now you're speaking my language, tvic. Love the 07s...and your Box Elder Wood 7207 looks even better in the great outdoors.
If you're a Mini Trapper fan, you may want to check out the Ode To The 07 thread (click link below) and please consider posting your 7207 pic there as well

Nice photos, Ivoryman...makes me homesick for mountains (the kind with trees and rivers...not the barren, moonscape kind that spew lava!)

Iman, those are really, really nice photos and a nice knife. I really like the 3rd shot down (or up), whichever direction you wish to count from.

Re: Knife Photography
Was just talking to a friend who bought property in Hawaii. He was telling me how beautiful and nice Hawaii was. Always thought it was like paradise. You definitely made me rethink that one. I kind of like the rivers, streams, waterfalls, peaks and canyons. And Loooooove the trees.
Thanks, appreciate it, sometimes mother nature helps out the lack of photography skills.
Flatlanders welcome, I don't live near the mountains either, but I love them just the same.
