I've said that same thing before and Scott has posted some of the best pictures on AAPK, IMO.
I know how he feels, I published a book of knife pictures but I've given more away than have sold.

Regarding the calendar/book market, I have thought many times that some of the photos on this site should be collected into an AAPK calendar. But...even I would not get much use of out one. For many years I would put up a calendar in my man cave every January. About June I would notice that I had not turned a page since January.

Here's a couple shots of this pretty Brother Q included in the trade, and my old GEC Bullet End taken right after each other. Look how different the color appears from ivory in some photos, to yellow in others. Zero filters, no changed settings, just click, click, click, one after another. No effects. No Nothing. BUT, vastly different looking color. And may I say the Brother blows away the RRiders, Schrades, and Imperials I have handled. If I knew these Brothers were this good I never would have bought a Rough Rider or Schrade or Imperial from China at all. Wished I had bought Brothers instead. But I didn't buy this, it was a great Q bomb. Thanks Q, the Brother is like an AGRussell. CUTS above the others.

Great photo GSP. That Humphrey looks like a very handy all purpose knife. What is the OAL?

It is about 10" OAL. He makes a tough knife there are some videos on you-tube of him doing torture test on his bigger chapping blades, bending them in a vice, chopping big heavy stuff in half, etc.

I'm new to the RAT/ESEE knives and I was surprised by how well the "traction blade coating" held up and cleaned up. It didn't chip or scratch and cleaning it after use was easy even though the coating is textured. Good size for an all purpose camp knife. The only complaint I have is, for my purposes, I don't like the kydex sheath at all. I'm sure it does well in molle applications but I'm more of a leather belt sheath fan.

Here's a shot of what I was carrying with this Western USA of my cousins that was from that 70's and used to be his "Scout" knife. I really like the Western, the wood and construction is great, solid and good looking and sweet blade with some great patina.

Sasquach, I'm not a fan of ESEE's sheaths either. I'd be a lot more inclined to buy one if they offered black leather sheaths and/or knives without sheaths.

Ivoryman, that Schrade stockman is superb!

And here is a shot I wanted to take before I lightened the load some. From top to bottom: Schrade 104OT, Schrade 34OT, and Camillus 99. I believe it was an okay idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired.

Thanks Dan, it's not original, Jeffinn put the sweet bones on instead of Delrin, and filed the bolsters. But to me it's a one of a kind and I just love the bones, the butter smooth open and close and no wobble. Jeffinn knows how to re-assemble a knife. Like you wouldn't believe, if you haven''t had one treat yourself. Wont regret it for a second.
