The knife is awesome. The snow...not so much. Hard to believe you were still getting snow in May!

Dad just wrapped up the oats, He's pounding in the barley, and then on to canola.
Problem is, we got major flee beetle infestation out here right now... So we gotta hold off, till they blow over.

Anyhoo,
Glad to have you back on mate, you were missed!

Made the whistle with Sycamore wood sent all the way from Florida by our buddy FFF(Triple F). Shout out and thanks to Scott. The little guy with the cord through the eye is not a whistle, it's just a pendent or key fob or whatever and made of deer antler. The outside or bark obviously has to go if you're going to carve it like this and going in deep makes a finished piece that sometimes looks almost like ivory or bone where as the exterior wouldn't at all. Exposing the insides. Thanks for the compliments.
And let me return the favor. Spot on gorgeous bone on those. And love the bolsterless ends. Wow that is some great color and rich hue and beautiful condition. Know how old it is? I have been looking at one just like it only says celluloid scales and I think it might be ivory. Don't want no celluloid. Beautiful pattern and jigging. Wow is all I can say. And great poses and pictures, interesting backgrounds and all. Sweeeeeeeet.
