Re: Lets show some Old and Rare ones.
Thanks guys, appreciate it. That Fox is a great gun,It's an XE grade, it was sold by the E.K. Tryon Company around 1923. I found the gun in as my gunsmith put it "in unenviable condition" but he did an amazing restoration on it, it is my favorite vintage sporting clays gun.
I had posted that I was looking for an E.K.Tryon knife to go with the gun and Charlie saw my post and very generously gifted me the Barlow, I have it in my pocket every event I shoot with the Fox.

John - Little late to your post - but a great barlow and shotgun pair
... That is really cool in my book that you carry the barlow when clay shooting with the gun... I would indeed do the same
....

Thank you Lee, it's fun showing my shooting buddies the knife when opening flats of shells and telling the history of the gun and the knife.
Picked up this pretty nice Jaeger Brothers swell center cattle knife this week, gorgeous pearl handles, light to no use on the blades with light corrosion.
3 5/8" with a heavy feel to it, all 3 blades tang stamped.

Beautiful knife Roger. Love the pattern and the handle material.
I do wonder what happened to it to produce that "serrated" edge on the main blade.

Awesome Roger
... Not sure I ever saw a Southington knife with an etch

Greg, that's a great display. We're so used to identifying Case knives with the oval shield, makes me wonder how many old one's I passed over just lookin' for the familiar Case oval.

Greg, nice group of pre-Tested knives! You have a good mix of handle materials in use at the time.
