Mike,the punch and the bone sure look like NYKC.The rest of the knife,no.

Bone for sure looks like NYK to me as well but the punch I’m not sure , most NYK punches have a patient, this one doesn’t and it’s stamped thomaston .

Cool scout knife Mike ::tu:: ::tu:: ... and being a Thomaston it is right up my alley of favorites :) ... I did a fair amount of research for the the article on the Thomaston Whittler with Union label - there may have been a connection somehow as I remember that NYK was part of the PKBG&F (Pocket Knife Blade Grinders & Finishers Union) that started in Thomaston and ended sometime in the late 1910s... but I assume this knife was made after that time but not sure...

John, that is as good as it gets, it has everything going for it. It is such a beautiful knife, that it's a shame you don't really care for the Sheepsfoot jack pattern. ::rotflol:: ::tease::
