Is that the 4-line stamp on the pen? That is a beauty!
Yes it is Tony, thank you.

I saw these 3 Barlow’s crawling across the top of the screen the other day. I know these aren’t respected by collectors but I think that Imperial Ireland knives are some of the most undervalued knives out there. These are “shell” knives and sawcut Delrin handles. Not exactly the most expensive made knives, but for 8 bucks a piece I was willing to gamble.

Got another 2 blade Case Barlow in today. I like this bonestag. Case does bonestag like no other. Trying to put several of these back for the future. Taking advantage of these being out of the vault for this year. I keep finding that there are more 2 blades than I saw in the original catalog. I forgot to account for the SFO’s they make for some big sellers. It’s getting hard to keep up.

Some mighty fine barlows being shown. I'd hate the word to get out that I didn't like'm. I've got a few old bottom feeders.

Thanks Joe, I've managed to acquire a few old ones with spey blades, not easy to find.

Dave your Barlows show a wide range of types. Very nice collection. And I do like scrimshaw.

This is a bad question but I need to ask it. I am not a collector but would like one nice Barlow.
I have a couple users but would like one to show off if cornered at a fancy dinner

What are your best recommendations for one fancy Barlow?

Welcome to the forum. Here are a couple of Case Barlows that have just been released this year. The peacock Appaloosa bone is a SMKW exclusive. The turquoise curly maple is available at a lot of dealers. The Appaloosa bone comes in a two blade as well.
I think these are pretty fancy Barlows.

Easy, I believe. Search the AAPK stores by pattern. Something will "grab you" & you'll know it.

I must say I don’t have the quantity or the quality that so many of you have, but I do love a good Barlow knife and the Boker Barlow 2 blade is currently my EDC knife. These pictures are copied from my Excel spreadsheet knife inventory. I think I have a couple of nice ones, at least they look fine in my collection.
