Appreciate it Marco! ::handshake::
Showing dogs has taken a backseat these last couple of years but I'm looking forward to showing some this year. This is Chloë's mother.

This is our newest pet, she was only a few days old in this picture. We are scheduled to visit her later in February. I think she can come home with us at the end of February or first part of March.
The picture is a few weeks old, but the only one I have of her on my phone. She's a purebred Lhasa Apso. We have not dealt with this breeder before, but she appears to be very good, very thorough and have great quality dogs.
There are not many breeders for Lhasa Apsos, and there is usually a waiting list. We were fortunate to find this breeder about a month before the pups were born. She had two females due between Christmas and New Years. We had to satisfy the breeder that we were the right "family" for one of her Lhasas! Some breeders actually require a written background of your experience with Lhasa Apsos. This one didn't require a written background but talked to us on the phone. Actually she talked to my wife for probably two or three hours over the course of a couple of days. We have had five or six other Lhasa Apsos we are experienced with the breed which can be a little difficult to manage if they're not properly trained, disciplined and led.

She was only a few days old when these pictures
were taken but in the videos I have seen she's becoming quite active.

We can't wait to get her home! We have not decided on a name yet, we want the name to fit her personality.

Dale, she looks like a cutie with potential to be a great family addition. Most breeds need more training than they get, unfortunately. Sorta like our children! ::dang::

This is awesome. ::tu:: I enjoyed reading about the interview with the breeder and it sounds like you guys are going to have a good relationship with her. Best wishes with your new pup.

What a sweet little addition to your household Dale! ::tu:: I had a good friend who was obsessed with this breed and he had a pack of 7 Lhasa Apso's, everyone's favorite being a pure white female named "Mia". That dog would love to be in her owners arms while we cruised the neighbourhood on my Triumph motorcycle with her long hair blowing in the wind and her face jutted forward sniffing out the latest smells. You have experience with these dogs so I'm sure you have an idea of what I'm describing. And kudos to the breeders/owners who are requiring background checks on any potential buyers, I wish everyone would practise this before turning the animal out into a cruel world full of cruel humans. Congratulations for giving another animal a loving home and family! ::handshake:: 8)

He is indeed a handsome brute. I had a Great Dane once who just one time sampled some beer. At first he was hesitant about it but then decided he really liked it. He was a voracious eater of ice cream as well.

My neighbor is on vacation in Arizona for 10 days, so I am taking care of his boys. Cabo (left) and Buddy (right). 2 below zero here this morning, so the boys go out, take care of business QUICKLY, and get back in.

Thank you for the kind comments, Garry and John.
Normally, I wouldn't attempt a photograph of my black dog with the light source behind him, but I wanted that angle in order to highlight the icy shrubbery.
My old boy is 2 months shy of his 12th birthday. He struggles with the heat these days, but you would think he was a pup when on a Winter outing.
