HI!
I waited to post as I thought those that are CASE experts might jump in first, but to no avail so your stuck with me. This is a pen knife from the the sixties. It has been used but not abused as the photo shows. Looks like a red bone handle. My guess is that is is worth $20 but that is just a guess. Closer inspection would help. Nice find.

case knife
hi,
glad to try and help. your knife was made between 1940 to 1964 and it is either a 6233 or 06244 pattern, depending on the length of it closed. the 6233 is 2 5/8 inches closed and the 06244 is 3 1/4 inches closed. it looks like it is the 6233 to me, but hard to tell without knowing the closed length. as far as value, the 6233 pattern books for 150.00 in mint condition and the 06244 books for 160.00 in mint condition. while its not in mint condition, its hard to say what the actual value it would bring would be if you were going to sell it, but its an old case knife and looks very nice and would be a good one to put back as it will surely grow in value. i hope ive helped.
thanks,
steve

HI!
Well, there you have it. As I said, the CASE experts will chime in. Seems like a nice find according to Steve. Nice job.
