Is that Strider a Buck collaboration?
As far as I know it is a Strider from the Strider factory in CA. I have a Strider/Buck collaboration, it also has the Bos logo on it for heat treatment.

Clip, Spey, Wharn, Drop. What a combination. Definitely will cover it and will look great while it's doing it.

Ain't gonna really use it hard, but it came in so it gets a ride anyway. Might get some drool on it or something.

SOG Escape FL, Rough Ryder Classic Carbon Hawkbill (one of the very few that is a slim one that isn't a brick in the pocket), and Victorinox SwissTool Spirit XC (serrated blade and scissors; which pairs great with a plain-edge folder. The FL is one I've been looking at getting for quite some time, but never really pulled the trigger. Q here sent it with a CRKT Windage I purchased from him here recently. It will pretty much be my go-to work knife, and at $25 shipped from SOG direct, it's not an expensive knife to replace if something goes south (aka I lose it or it gets broken). It has to be one of the better value-grade offerings out there. Surprisingly, it's got 8Cr13MOV, when most budget SOGs are the cheaper 7Cr17 or 5Cr13MOV.

I did some research after my post, Paul Bos came up with the heat treatment used by Strider and Buck. There are Strider/Buck collaborations out there too, not saying yours is one, but I noticed the BOS with the flame from Buck knives that I have. I love your knife. ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks! ::handshake:: it has great steel and is as strong as you could want in a knife that size. ::nod:: I have had it for about 10 years and it has been overseas with me, so it has some sentimental value. If the balloon goes up it is going with me. 8)

Thank you, sir. Stainless has an advantage when it gets hot & humid in the South. I realize that each time I pull a knife out of my jeans & it hasn't broken out in a rash of pepper spots. It should keep its good looks for a long time.

Thanks geo, appreciate it. I'm not really familiar with him either, only seen a couple of his knives on here, but I think he does top notch customs. Thanks again.

Thank you Steve but I must admit that after years of use it no longer looks very classy compared with that marketing photo. Yet it did look classy for a few years. :)
