Pretty much just what you said I think I did 2000 , 2500 , 3000 some gun oil . Some case metal polish on the bolsters. I don’t like the knife to be super shiny , I still want it to look old. I was lucky because this etch was deep. But I’m willing to bet this Knife would bring 50 to 100 more than I paid but I probably won’t sell. I do it as an investment. I can’t save money in a bank but I know how to buy an invest my money in knives. I look for knives just like this that I think I can turn into a completely different knife. Even everyone on here thought no way nothing you can do an I think that’s honestly why I have the luck I do because most would say that knife is too far gone for 80 but it wasn’t in my opinion.

Great looking trio and I'm amazed at how the blade cleaned up without losing the etch. Awesome suggestions from the knife repair guys!
