Two Imperials for $8. One standard shell-handle jack (which I already have, although the shells on the one I have are smooth yellow), the other with the GM ignition key. Those with the key blanks have always intrigued me, and I've put off buying one for a long time.
I wonder why 3/4 of these GM key blank knives you see are uncut?

I have several of its siblings, however. an SC505 (safety award for Norfolk Southern's local branch, the Pocahontas Division), 885UH( genuine stag, unknown LE as it was never finished at the factory) 885 King Ranch (Staglon), Sabre Monarch 231, and 89OT Blazer (serrated sheepsfoot)
That is, until now. This one was $25 shipped, which is just about right to me (as I'm spending more, and putting more focus on bone and stag handles these days). Not too beat up, however. Gonna definitely use this one. I'm waiting until I can find an older one with the match strike pull for the collection. The 231 has that, and it's a gorgeous knife.

Nice Tom. You will like that one. I've got one in my EDC group. Slightly different scales than yours, but a good pattern to carry. Congrats Bud!!

Why, you ask? Simply because the secondary blade is positioned in front of the main.
That was my sole draw to it.

Chris, if you feel like you "need" a reason for buying a knife, that's as good a reason as any.

Re: It's In The Mail
I had been passing on this knife for a couple of years at already highly discounted $60 and $70 prices. Recently, I noticed Sierra Trading Post had them on sale for $40 (albeit, I did have to pay $8 shipping on top of that), and finally decided to get one.
Victorinox (formerly Wenger) RangerGrip 71 Gardener. The RangerGrips have a longer blade (they're about an inch longer closed than the big Vics; 111mm vs. 130mm) and saw, and this version has large scissors as well. Part of the reason I passed on this model is that there are no screwdrivers at all. I figure I'll carry this one with my multitool when working. I'm hoping the very expensive RangerGrip Boatsman ($150 at the cheapest right now) goes on a similar discount. It has pliers, as does the cheaper Rangergrip 74.
Also, this French oldie. The seller had a really nice three-blade Solingen-made Bayer electrician's knife, and in the end, I thought I'd win that knife, and was sort of interested in this one, even though it kinda looked worn out; so I put a cheap bid in. Well, I won that for $15 shipped, but not the knife I really wanted.
The brand according to the seller is "Coursolle". It's a four-bladed knife. There are two cutting blades, a saw, as well as a punch. I think the liners and bolsters may be iron. Looks to be a pretty old knife. That being said, I've seen similar ones in as bad of a shape, and sellers wanted MUCH more.

Thanks. I hope it will be TMK. The BoneStag seems to differ sometimes from lot to lot. But I will definitely post some pics when it arrives.

I'm a fan of BoneStag and Copperheads so for me, that's a winner from two directions. And maybe you could post it over in the new Copperhead thread. Kinda help get that one off the ground.
