WMSR Restoration of C&O 1309

This project has been in process for several years now. Due to many issues, like unforseen extra repairs, fund raising, Covid and even employee theft, I was beginning to think this was not going to ever be completed. Well, the time is finally here and the old Chesapeake and Ohio 1309 steam-engine moved under it's own power for the first time in several decades.

Found the video on line. And watched it. At one point you can see a Black, White & Red Diesel locaomotive behind it. I guess helping to push it. That one is under my Christmas tree right now as I write. Yep!
