Man, I see those fixed blades of yours and begin to feel the disappointment of not being able to carry one.
(I don't believe I've seen a folder one that you've shown that didn't get me to droolin'!)

34 years in New Jersey has made me soft, weather wise. I did most of my years in up-state NY, born in Maine, spent a few years in Fairbanks, Alaska. Just can't take the cold like I used to.
Being 58 may have a bit to play in that, too

Thanks Steve, it would be hard for me to live somewhere where I could not carry my knives. I can understand about the snow and cold, a lot of older folks in MT migrate somewhere warmer for winter, like St. George, UT or Yuma, AZ. Beautiful, clear 10F this morning but the sun is out, so warming quickly.

Thanks Doc, I have skinned hogs with my Loveless. 154CM does not have the carbides to stay sharp with hog skin though, I prefer M2 and CPM-M4. Nice carries, always liked Benchmades.

I am not saying that, it is that old adage my knife is "honest", "real", "hard working", "nothing beats old carbon steel". They are BS and opinion only. Each has their own view point, and that is my opinion.

Those old adages will get you every time. Now that I think about it, the one on the left looks just slightly less real, actually.
